Dear PhD students,
It is pleasure to offer again a Summer School on Infection Research in Juliusruh, Rügen from May 20 to May 25, 2012.
It is an excellent opportunity to learn as much as possible in the field of Infection Research, to discuss your work with the invited speakers and your colleagues and to intensify and strengthen your networks.
Your application has to include the official application form including your contact details as well as an abstract of your current PhD work; moreover, applicants have to select workshops in which specific topics will be discussed. All applicants who are accepted should send at least three questions for each workshop which you want to discuss with the expert for your workshop.
All accepted students will present a poster (A0); in addition, you also should prepare a 5 minute talk; students will be selected for an oral talk after the poster session.
Deadline for application is February 20, 2012. Please send your complete application by mail to: school@helmholtz-hzi.de .
Please note, that we will only accept complete applications! (abstract + application form). You will not get any confirmation for your application; however, you will be informed whether or not you have been accepted for the Summer School at the end of March 2012.
Your expenses: There will be a bus shuttle from the HZI, which will be organised by us. If you arrive from another city you organise your travel and pay for your trip by yourself! Accommodation and the venue will be booked by us; acceptance for the Summer School includes free accommodation and no participation fee!
